Gabriel Stine
About me:
I am a Simons Postdoctoral Fellow in Mehrdad Jazayeri’s lab at MIT. My research is focused on how cerebellar-thalamocortical interactions support cognition. I am broadly interested in the relationship between neural population activity and complex behavior. In 2022, I completed my PhD on the neural mechanisms of perceptual decision making, working with Michael Shadlen at Columbia University.
I am also the current chair of the MIT Brain and Cognitive Sciences Postdoc Association, working on a variety of initiatives to improve our community at MIT and beyond.
This website contains an overview of the different projects I am involved in and other general information about me.
Please do not hesitate to contact me at gstine@mit.edu. Always happy to talk science!
